365 Days of Glass - Day 110
A kindergarten student used Glass to record herself playing hopscotch.
Her class wanted to answer some of the questions their partner class in New Hampshire had asked and the students created a plan to use Glass to show their responses. In addition to wondering about recess and the playground, their NH partners were curious about things like: Do you have free choice time? Is your kindergarten half-day?
The class came up with creative ways to show them by interviewing students, using Glass during center time, and recording a video showing and explaining their daily schedule.
After I watched the hopscotch video, I realized that Glass could also be a great tool for an inquiry unit on shadows and shadow play because you can capture shadows without having to add an extra shadow by holding a camera! I’m excited to explore this with the students and see if we can create a story, told through shadows and recorded with Glass.
